Akrapovic is one of absolute best exhaust systems we sell. The construction quality and light weight is given at the price point; however, Akrapovic stands apart from most aftermarket exhausts out there for several reasons. This exhast produces no drone at any RPM. The exhausts are TUV Certified. The construction quality and fitment beats any high end exhaust on the market (Akrapovic manufactures OEM exhausts for Porsche AG -911 GT2 model). Akrapovic exhaust always provide dyno-proven power increase (Dyno graps are available for each exhaust).
Given all the factors above, you get a lot more with Akrapovic for the price then with most other exhausts.
Every exhaust is developed for every specific vehicle make and model and it is extensively tested on actual vehicles in house and on the track by Akrapovic in-house race cars and numerous sponsored teams. Evolution Titanium Exhaust (Street)
This setup is normally a full header-back (includes headers for Porsche applications) titanium exhaust replacement for your car. The main advantages include the measurable increase in power due higher flowing piping layout and higher flowing catalyc converters (400cpsi), good reduction in weight and notisably improved exhaust note. The full Evolution Titanium systems are TUV certified and street legal in Europe They also pass emissions test in the USA.
Evolution Slip-On Exhaust (Street)
The Slip-On exhaust is the muffler part of the full Evolution system. the Slip-On design does not include the midpipes or an x-pipe replacement. It still provides the weight savings, power increase and a better exhaust sound to a lesser extent then a full system. Again, the Slip-On Evolution exhausts are TUV certified and street legal in Europe. They pass the emissions test in the USA.
Evolution Race Exhaust (Race/Street)
Yhe lightest, loudest and the best performing system Akrapovic offers. They recommend this setup for track only; however it is still not overly loud for the street. This system is not TUV certified; however, it will still pass the emissions test in the USA.
Evolution Sports Cup Exhaust (Street/Race)
This system is designed specifically for Porsche Sports Cup rules, which means retaining the original exhaust manifold with integrated catalysts. The sound in this configuration is somewhat below the sound of the original system with the opened exhaust cap. The system is TUV certified and passes smog sniffer test in the USA.
The Material:
The titanium used for our exhaust systems is produced exclusively for Akrapovic. It is three times stronger and is more heat resistant than any other titanium product on the market and 40% lighter than stainless steel. The high strength allows to use thinner insulation while still achieving the highest quality standards. This brings you to the decisive advantage on the race track.
